Anchoring boxes and lines in text

When you anchor an item, it behaves like a character flowing in text. To anchor an item:

  1. Select the Item tool QuarkXpress tool item Anchoring boxes and lines in text, then select the item you want to anchor.
  2. Choose Edit > Cut or Edit > Copy.
  3. Select the Text Content tool QuarkXpress tool text content Anchoring boxes and lines in text and place the Text Insertion bar where you want to anchor the item.
  4. Choose Edit > Paste to anchor the item at the text insertion point.
