You can use Table Import XTensions software to create a table in QuarkXPress using a Microsoft Excel file as the data source, and you can update that same QuarkXPress table when the data changes in the Excel file. You can also use this XTensions module to import and update charts and pictures from Microsoft Excel.

When the Table Import XTensions software is active or loaded, the following additions display in the QuarkXPress interface:

• The Link to external data check box is added to the Table Properties dialog box.
• The Tables tab is added to the Usage dialog box.
• The Insert Chart tab is added to the Import Picture dialog box and displays all the charts present in the workbook.
